Ahh..!!! Yes, you heard it right "Fresher Graduates" ..
We are very well aware of the fact that in India there are large number of youngsters searching for the right job, looking for the better career options after they get graduate and in this list today engineers hits the top.:)
And amid some of them do achieve their dream job.
What about the rest??. Do they quit?..the average people or rather we call "The Average Skilled Freshers".Well, some opt for the PG, some go on with the idea 'JOB HUNT', some start looking for the alternatives sources (i.e., what we call 'Jugaad' ), and at last some gets depressed.
"DEPRESSION" ..!!! Now, with the word depression the real problem starts. Friends let me share a story with you or rather a query that was raised by an 'IIT Graduate'. So, it goes some what in this way :-
I Graduated from IIT in 2011 and ranked under the TOP 200 in IIT JEE Examination.
I've never worked abroad and I'm feeling depressed. What should I do?
Look at the ingenuousness of the question, I mean - Is this the thing One should really worry about??
But these days we very often will find these worries or similar kind of worry among the "Youths of India".
- What if i don't get selected in our campus placement?
- If i could get XYZ amount of salary packages.
- What should I do, I'm a normal graduate from a normal college?
- Parents have spend lots of money on me, somehow, jugaad, top MNC's, settling at the earliest, abroad etc etc ...And the list goes on & on & on ...that there seems to be no end.
The problem is that we are not happy with our present, we instead wants to live in our 'FUTURE'. How is this even possible?? ...No-one has seen the future, what's gonna happen? or have you??
I mean this is not a joke or a kind of play or drama that we are broadcasting it to the world 'Live'.
I mean this is not a joke or a kind of play or drama that we are broadcasting it to the world 'Live'.
This is 'LIFE' and it reflects "What You Do" not "What You Can Do" !! Right
Focus On Your Today - Try and improve it. Have a plan for 2 or 3 months ahead and start working on it. Try and organize yourself accordingly. Yes, indeed you must have a goal, a passion to live by, but don't indulge yourselves in the 'thought process' that you actually forget what has to be done. "Your Present".
Let us consider an example - The Social Giant "FACEBOOK"
- Facebook is not a real life. or Is it??
Why do people have amazing life on facebook?. Most of them wants to convey to the world that they are the happiest person in the world by just posting some of theirs photos in the news feed. They're free from all depressions, troubles, sorrow etc. Then, why do actually have to tell the world?
Its actually the other way around. They lack happiness from inside just as you do by worrying for your future and instead you forget your present. If people doesn't get 'likes' on facebook, they gets depressed. People who are happy in their lives just don't have time to worry for such thing, because they're busy in enjoying their life.:)
- Working Abroad??
Think that you got a desired job and you are happy by working abroad? ...or just ask your friends, relatives etc who went abroad . Talking about their lifestyle will make you happy for a while but sooner or later, that charm will fade away. Then what?
i.e., "Your depression will not go away, instead it will just be replaced by something else". The best place is here, where you belong, people who cares for you, because if you can't find the solution here then its not worth searching for it. 'Solution lies within You'.. you don't have to travel abroad.
"Depression is manufactured in One's own Mind" you keep saying my friends criticizes me, my girlfriends, my wife, my parents, my teachers etc ......
STOP STOP !!.. HOLD ON
Its not them. Its "YOU".
Yes, you. You are the engine. You are creating expectations in your head and when those expectations are not met, you start cursing the world. How is the world responsible for the expectations that you've staged for yourself?? Expecting a job, better life, success, relationships, material assets etc. These are the things that you have planted in your head. Nobody told you to impose these things, or have they?. You did it for yourself. This is called "SELF TRAP".
I'm not saying that you shouldn't have a dream or goal or aim or targets etc. But rather than expecting those things in your imaginary life, start giving inputs.
Yes, "IMAGINARY LIFE" - that you have rooted profoundly within you. Where you just saw a girl and your thought process starts flowing so ardently that it crosses all the lines and you start visualizing her as your life partner and even that's not the limit, you think of the kids too ..:)
"Stop Dreaming and Start Working" ....start giving inputs, explore yourself, show up whatever you have within you. Try to 'live by your passion not by your imagination'.
"Happiness is not what you have, its what you feel". Expecting to be happy only when you have X,Y,Z is an unreal expectation.
Always Remember Friends ....
